|Description:||Equus is currently seeking a new IT Project Manager at our corporate headquarters in Minnetonka, MN. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a strong project management background and experience planning, directing, and coordinating the delivery of IT projects across multiple business units. This position is responsible for managing complete process, assuring financial success of projects, and developing implementation schedules in line with Equus objectives within the prescribed time frame.|
|Duties:|| Fully plan and manage the delivery of website related projects including but not limited to software development, implementations, and system integrations. Manage projects: establish priorities, allocate available resources for various phases of project, assign responsibility to team members, analyze workflows, develop standards, and set deadlines.|
Gather requirements, identify project scope and objectives.
Identify project risks and mitigation of such risks.
Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess the organization's technology use and needs to recommend process improvements, computing needs, and system requirements.
Prepare project reports for management regarding the progress of project deliverables, milestones and costs.
Direct activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Demonstrate good personal skills and conflict management with different stakeholders.
Demonstrate the ownership of project to accomplish different requests and identify opportunities for improvement.
|Qualifications:|| Bachelors degree |
Minimum of 3-5 year experience in managing IT related projects.
PMP certification is a plus but not required.
Strong communication skills.
Familiar with Agile (Scrum) project management methodology.
