Equus Computer Systems (www.equuscs.com) is one of America's largest computer system manufacturers. Since 1989, we have delivered build-to-order desktops, notebooks and servers to the ISV, OEM, value added reseller and system integrator channels. We seek a Vice President of Product Management and Marketing to report directly to the CEO and lead the company’s efforts to position itself as a visionary leader in the industry. The role will be responsible for all strategy and deliverables concerning corporate marketing, partner/channel marketing, product marketing and product management with the goal of acquiring and growing customer base across all marketing channels.

Duties:• Develop marketing strategies to efficiently drive new customer acquisition through multiple channels.
• Lead marketing research into consumer insight and industry trends.
• Lead data analysis of advertising and marketing efforts.
• Drive the planning process for all channels to support product line goals.
• Provide strategic development and execution of all marketing concepts.
• Use deep understanding of the ROI of our investments and the opportunities to scale across customers and channels.
• Build awareness, interest and trial of key product lines through development of effective online creative and messaging strategies.
• Monitor all media investments to budget and efficiency goals.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to optimize conversion of site visitors/registrants to customers through an integrated promotional and messaging strategy as well as cohesive customer experience.
• Continuously evaluate marketing strategies and methodologies based on measurement and testing.
• Develop & manage marketing budget.
• Lead cross-functional product management teams.
• Work with engineering, customers and executive staff to define next generation products.
• Align team practices to the company’s mission and values.
• Identify and implement technology to improve marketing processes and measurement.
• Use skills and abilities to work closely with the CEO and other senior staff counterparts.
Qualifications:Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
• A minimum of 10-15 years' executive level marketing management experience with direct involvement in marketing, product management, and user experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and strong executive presence.
• Track record of successful marketing strategies developed for a department or product, preferably in computer hardware, servers, and data storage.
• Experience in market/customer research and analysis, segmentation and competitive analysis.
• Deep knowledge of and experience with traditional online and marketing platforms.
• Experience developing and managing entire marketing budget.
• Proactive, energetic, self-starter looking to have a significant impact on business success.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
