|Description:||The Senior Director, Marketing ECS is responsible for the strategic development of and delivery on marketing initiatives across all Equus corporate brands. Specific accountabilities include customer experience, brand and channel strategy, integrated marketing services, and team leadership of the marketing services group. |
The incumbent accomplishes this through a combination of team-directed strategies and self-directed tactical execution in four key areas: 1.) Problem Identification; 2.) Solution Development; 3.) Communication Strategy; and 4.) Demand Generation. There will be a heavy emphasis on the Communication Marketing Strategy and Demand Generation roles.

|Duties:|| Creates content strategies that cover key messages, info architecture, editorial planning, content development, and digital asset management.|
Develops channel marketing approaches in tandem with sales strategies that identify targeted partners and partner relationship development.
Defines and executes on all digital marketing strategies and activities pertaining to online assets such as websites, blogs, email, and other digital assets, as well as digital strategies including SEO,SEM, PPC
Gathers customer intelligence through surveys, audits, and other tools to identify needs and opportunities
Consults with business unit leaders to craft content and digital media communications that impacts user experience and drives product/service demand
Drives customer outreach and engagement through CRM mixed media strategies that encourage direct social engagement and cross-channel brand awareness
Obtains market insights through syndicated and trade sources to build internal marketing team awareness of industry trends, competitors, channel insights, benchmarks, and other competitive intelligence
Develops specific strategies to match value proposition, analysis, target customers, and customer response targets by specific market.
Understands key brand attributes for all ECS products and services, leveraging such knowledge into programs that create enterprise-wide brand strategies
Collaborates with internal business leaders to define and lead social media strategy, including channel and profile management and commensurate legal and regulatory compliance.
Provides insight and expertise in to ecommerce strategies related to online processes, decision support systems, cart abandonment, and other user experience indicators.
Oversees relationships with outside agencies and vendors for traditional marketing support related to PR/publicity, trade shows, industry events, sales tools and literature
Builds and mentors internal marketing team, aligning such as a collaborative, cross-functional partner to all business units. Provides coaching, work direction, and professional development for all team members.
Directly supervises a team responsible for copywriting, social media, and marketing management.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Coaches and develops team members in a way that promotes teamwork and optimum performance.
|Qualifications:|| Bachelors degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.|
Ten years in a strategic marketing leadership role encompassing customer experience, brand and marketing strategy, integrated digital marketing communications and demand generation in a B-to-C environment
Successful development of strategic partnerships with channel partners, ad agencies, and other key marketing support relationships.
Deep understanding of the sales and marketing lifecycle/process with record of substantive, in-depth marketing solutions involving both digital and traditional marketing strategies.
